In 2019, I lost my husband, Chad, at just 47 years old. His death from a Telomere Biology Disorder (TBD) came at the end of a grueling, two-year medical odyssey that took us around the world searching for answers and solutions.
I resolved that other families shouldn’t have to endure what we did. That resolution led me to Team Telomere.
My goal is simple: advance science toward better treatments and, one day, a cure. This small but mighty organization is making meaningful progress in the form of new treatments that weren't available for Chad, but there is still more to do. Every donation is an investment in a future where TBDs no longer devastate families.
