Hi Friends,
My human Mattie and I are co‑writing this message together on this Giving Tuesday. Today, we’re hoping to raise $1,000 before the end of the day for an organization that is very close to our hearts: Team Telomere.
Because Mattie is traveling for work, he asked me to take the lead. I gladly accepted this challenge, and I’ll be in constant contact with him as we track our progress.
Mattie is such a special human to me. He lives with a rare genetic condition called Dyskeratosis Congenita, one of several Telomere Biology Disorders (TBDs). These disorders are rare, and the medical community—including me, your friendly koala bear DNP—is still learning, digging deep, and working hard to understand them
That’s why Team Telomere matters so much. They are on the front lines: researching, advocating, and raising awareness for families like Mattie’s and for all those affected by TBDs.
This is a big task for a small koala bear like me, but I believe with your help we can show the world that even the smallest voices can make a big difference. 🌍✨
Together, we can reach our goal—and as Mattie always says: “I won’t quit.”
