$80 towards $300

This Giving Tuesday, we’re launching The Good News Hour, a campaign to celebrate the progress we’ve made together and to power what’s next.

I wanted to bring a little light into the world, especially at a time when the news can feel heavy. When I learned more about the incredible work Team Telomere is doing for families impacted by Telomere Biology Disorders (TBDs), I knew I wanted to help.
As part of Team Telomere’s Good News Hour campaign this Giving Tuesday, I’m sharing a moment of “good news” from my own life and connection to this community:

In 2024 my son Logan, daughter Alexa, and myself were all diagnosed with a Telomere Biology Disorder. With the help of the Team Telomere Community, many doctors, specialists, scientists, and researchers, we have been provided with care and information to help us navigate and better understand this rare disease. Because of Team Telomere we were able to attend a Community Summit this past year and meet others who are struggling with the same issues and searching for answers and support. Research was recently performed on my family's specific gene mutations and I was able to travel to Boston for a Medical Consult. I am happy to say that we are all currently stable. This is all Good News and all Thanks to Team Telomere!

This is why I’m raising funds today. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for individuals and families navigating TBDs - fueling research, strengthening community, and bringing hope where it’s needed most.
Please take a moment to visit my fundraising page and consider making a donation to help me reach my goal of $300.
