This Giving Tuesday, we’re launching The Good News Hour, a campaign to celebrate the progress we’ve made together and to power what’s next.

I wanted to bring a little light into the world, especially at a time when the news can feel heavy. We experience the incredible work Team Telomere is doing for families impacted by Telomere Biology Disorders (TBDs) firsthand and want to give back to the organisation the supports us in many ways.

We have something exciting and hopeful to share.... Gabby's haematolgist here is working with the director of a new clinical trial being undertaken at Boston Children's Hospital to see if we can get Gabby onto the first phase of this groundbreaking trial. This trial provides HOPE. We don't know yet if NZ will be able/willing to make this happen but I'm so grateful that they are trying. HUGE shoutout to Dr Suneet Agarwal and Team Telomere Executive Director, Katie Stevens, for working so hard to facilitate this on our behalf.

This is why I’m raising funds today. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for individuals and families navigating TBDs - fueling research, strengthening community, and bringing hope where it’s needed most.
