10 years ago, on 19 November 2014, our lives changed forever. One seemingly routine trip to the GP, resulted in the first hospital admission and the first of hundreds of procedures. Team Telomere entered our lives and they are still here 10 years later. The support that we have received, in the form of travel scholarships to attend Camp Sunshine and Clinic Day at Boston Children's Hospital, to grants to help pay for a medical procedure here, Team Telomere have been critical in our journey and supporting our family, the community we have found has been this mummas saving grace in so many ways. Join me in supporting real change. Let’s support good in the world and make a difference. Help us see a world where every person impacted by Telomere Biology Disorders – including the affected individuals, caregivers, researchers, and clinicians – has accessible care, community, and resources, with the goal of positively changing the course of this disease, driving toward improved treatments and ultimately one day a cure.
Just a small donation will go a long way to helping me meet my goal for Team Telomere. And I can't let this 10 year anniversary go by without a HUGE thank you to our family and community that have supported us from that very first day. It still blows my mind to think of the support we have received and continue to receive. (Even if that adorable and spunky 4-year-old who loved the camera is now a sassy 14-year-old who cringes the minute she sees me with my phone pointed at her!)
